Recent NTB Flat Repair Experience

Bought a $3.99 kit at Biglots (Even came in a nice yellow case) and fix them myself. Never a problem.

+1. I used them for years until I had a bad experience with them.

I was even less impressed when I worked my way up the corporate ladder in an attempt to get the matter made right.

Went to Discount Tire and have been nothing but impressed.

Will never walk into an NTB (or any one of its subsidiaries) again.

They are about done building the Discount Tire at I-35 and K7 in Olathe. It is next to IHOP/Home Depot.

Oddly enough it is right next to the NTB I use. I can't say they are fast but I haven't had any issues with them. They have done some repairs on my escape and the work seemed good. I bought coopers through them. No complaints so far other than they aren't fast.

Sweet! Thanks for the info. That's about 2.5 mi from my house! We don't get down that way much -- since we switched prescriptions from Target to Walmart Neighborhood Market. Did they build the DT where Ryan's used to be? That's very good to know. I often buy from DTD, and now will have an install place.

As I've said before, before DT came to the area, used many a rope type repair with no adverse effect, meaning satisfactory results. As bubba notes, I well realize it doesn't meet the bitog "good housekeeping" seal of approval, just sayin it's worked fine IME.

As for the OP, very good news for you imo that DT is coming to your area. Among many dedicated tire things they do well, free puncture repair in an RMA repairable area using tire removal patch/plug procedure. And that goes whether the tire was purchased at DT or elsewhere.
