Ray-o-vac AA alkaline sale

I stopped buying Rayovac batteries a couple of years ago due to over 50% of them leaking before I even got a chance to use them. They are not worth the money.

I’ve had good luck with Harbor Freight’s thunderbolt magnum batteries. Currently 4.99 for 24 pack of AA. The Edge batteries are their highest tier but cost a little more.

Most of the batteries I've had that leaked are Rayovac, I would pass on this.
Yep, The Rayovac's and Duracell's leaked like crazy, in the carton, before installation. They weren't old, or subjected to extreme temps either. Lesson learned. Now I buy off brand alkaline that I catch on sale wherever. No leakage, and last just as long.

I happened upon Toshiba batteries at my ace hardware a few years ago and haven’t looked back. They’re around $10 for a 15 pack but last twice as long as any battery I’ve ever used, and I’ve tried almost all of them. I’ve got a battery activated motion cam out by my tree stand and I’ve only replaced them twice in 3 yrs.

I don't use a lot of batteries so buying in bulk usually results in some going bad before I use them. For that reason, I go with rechargeable. I have some Eneloop that are good and run at 1.2 v. Recently, I bought Coast Xithion X at Costco for a low price. These run at 1.5 v and are better for voltage sensitive devices. They don't last as many cycles as the Eneloop but they have a lifetime warranty.

Only batteries I have had leak are Duracell and some dollar tree junk ones we needed in a pinch. Never again on either of those. I haven't had an issue with these Rayovac Fusion batteries.
