I ran this oil pretty aggressively with Italian tune-ups and many sprints at subzero temperatures entering 70 MPH highway on ramp literally less than 3 miles away from a quick warmup from a 45F heated garage. The other two oils which were Idemitsu IFG7 0W-16 with the high Moly and Pennzoil Platinum 0w-16. The replacement oil was again Ravenol 0W-16 EFE and will try to keep OCI under 7,500 miles afterwhich I may jump to a 0W-20 or 0W-30 for summer use oil. BTW BS turnover was lightning quick, 6 days. The journey continues.

I know you said 20 or 30 grade for summer use oil but you'd want to use that thicker oil in the winter as well to minimize the impact of fuel dilution. Maybe you just meant you'll move to that grade from that point on? Al & Si went down. Fe could be slightly better but not too bad for these early miles & hard use. I do agree with you about a 0w-20 or 30 but stick with an oil that is not an "FE" type that may be made towards the higher end of the viscosity grade. Thanks for sharing. 6 days not bad but last lab I used took only 3 days. Is 6 days fast for BS?

My last uoa from bs took like 4 weeks...partially because the sample gets stuck in Indiana for awhile.

Yeah in their newsletter BS stated 5 days turnarounds. It was 6 days for me so they're not kidding.
