2024 Toyota Rav4 Prime XSE currently has 9,100 miles in 3 months.
I describe my driving style as spirited, especially on entry ramps where speed limits are 70mph.
Top Speed is 118 and gets there fairly quickly.
Vehicle returns 60-199 E MPG according to computer and worst was 29.5MPG running purely on ICE in CHARGE Mode.
I did my best to follow break-in but I definitely drove it like I stole it after 1000 miles break-in.

UOA 1: The first OC was at 800 miles and I put Pennzoil Platinum 0w-16 in with a Fram Endurance oil filter

UOA 2: Second oil change was at 4,800 miles. ENEOS ow-16 was used. No filter change.

Current fill is Idemitsu IFG-7 ow-16 and I will be doing a UOA when it accumulates 4,000 miles.
Next couple oil changes will be Amsoil 0w-16 Hybrid and Ravenol 0w-16 EFE

I will keep oil changes at 4,000 miles for the duration of ownership and don't mind moving to a 20 or 30 weight in the future after warranty expires.

All my other Toyotas/Lexus' I always changed oil at dealerships at 10,000 miles and they all made it past 200,000 miles so this is the only vehicle where I plan to DIY OC early since it is so easy to service especially with a Fumoto Valve.

I was reading the first one as if it was the first sample on this Rav4 but this was a double feature of your UOA w/first being the BS labs report. Good first trends showing. I've been doing the Fumoto valves too & are very handy as you well know. Thanks for sharing.

No Problem glad to share to the community!

I don’t understand the logic for reduced OCIs, especially if you had such great success with previous vehicles doing 10k intervals. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Nice silicon and metals drop
Current fill is Idemitsu IFG-7 ow-16

How's the engine sound with Idemitsu IFG 7? Are u planning to skip the free dealer changes at 10 and 20?

So I don't really notice any change in engine noise for the louder from the OEM TGMO, Pennzoil Platinum 0w-16, ENEOS 0w-16, and the Idemitsu IFG7 0W-16 to be honest. We have a Highlander Hybrid with the same engine and they sound similar.
Since I switched over to winter tires, the Michelin XIce Snow have a high pitched hum at certain highway speeds and surfaces that drowns out the engine noise.
Regarding the free oil changes yes I decided to just skip the freebies and DIY.

I measured my engine decibel level on cold starts with an app - valvoline vs tgmo and the valvoline was like 2 db less on the first test lol...I have to retest it tho there was airplanes and other noises that may have ruined the results.

I'm thinking of skipping the freebies too I don't want them to ruin my fumoto or over torque the filter, put in cheapo bulk oil or overfill it etc. I heard another user asked the dealer for the filter and 5 quarts of oil and a washer

Did pennzoil change their formula look at ur molyb uoa compared to this voa from last year it's like double. The other additives look similar

Something about this vehicle I just tend to "baby" it more than the others is my story. Plus if my kids earn the rights to the keys it's theirs.
