Coworker is looking for a set of all seasons. Got a recommendation? I think it's a 2012-ish vintage RAV4, one of that generation.

I wanted to say RT43's but I'm not sure that is a "great" tire for the application. I think he is leaning to a Yokohama tire, based upon other recommendations. I suspect Michelin is out; he's looking for mid range. Not too cheap, not too expensive. Not looking for snow tires either, so just the usual "good enough all 'rounder".

I just put some CS5 Grand Tourings on our '13 CR-V. They get a lot of good press here on Bitog. So far, they're as good as the recommendations said they'd be.

My Cooper CS4's were so good I'd HAVE to try CS5's on anything.

Also (with only the help of limited experience) I'd ALWAYS look to see what Continental had to offer.
I know that's vague advice but DARN, I've gotten great service from any Conti I've ever had.

Why do you think the General RT43's will not work? The RT43's are very good all round tire with long life abilities.

Didn't want to assume it would work well on a taller crossover--tread squirm has been noted on these. Plus I wanted to be unbiased in giving opinions.

Dunno--if it matters I'll ask. I think they are steelies with chrome covers--the painted steel ones, with spokes, but steel nevertheless.

If used in the snow the RT43s would probably do good.

I have a set of RT43s on my mom's 2012 Jeep Patriot and it doesn't really squirm. It does on the Camry though.

Yeah, it'll see snow. Nothing too deep though, he's in MA driving up into lower NH.
