I nonminate this for Post of the Year! My co-workers are now wondering what's wrong with me.

To the OP's original intent, I hold off complaining about the lack of proper grammar and sentence structure here as I'm more interested in learning what I don't know and helping those seeking knowledge on subjects that I do know well.

That said, one thing really does get under my skin and it's the use of the word temp's by one member in particular. I won't name names, but this poster uses this word in almost every post and 100% misuses the apostrophy.

Side bar: My wife teaches in a tech college and her classes are for those that are getting into a degree program but cannot meet the minimums for reading and writing. She lets me read some of the submissions because she can't stand to go through all of them because they are so poorly written it's painful. These are adults that somehow graduated from high school and still cannot find a complete sentence with both hands and a flashlight.

What really grinds my gears about these students is that they are in tech school on a full ride care of the taxpayer, but rarely do any of them actually receive a degree.

Hmmmm, haven't noticed that one before. I'll have to be on the look out from now on. What is the context? In regards to "Engine temps" or something?

The same guy who gave me my speech impediment and then bless me with a name with many letters of that impediment.

That's the sort of thing you'd want to have the guy read out loud, a few days after they typed it, to see if they could manage.

Sad thing is, they'd probably manage.

I'm still stuck on "This about hurts my eyes". Well,it either does or it does not, which is it?

We order motor mount hardware kits from a national fastener supply company. These custom sub-assembly sealed bags of various fasteners are for our 2 stroke shifter kits. We list the contents and how to label the bag in our purchase order, and we have been purchasing the same bag of sealed parts for 6+ years with some regularity. Imagine how we felt when a batch arrived with the ink marking on each and every bag "MOTER MOUNT II".

Spelling and grammar absolutely matter. These were returned for re-bagging.
