Everyone a superior mechanic. I think the difference is mostly in presentation.

My List;

1. South Main Auto. Simply the best diagnostic techniques. Impromptu dialog with Ms. O priceless.
2. The Car Wizard. Widest auto type experience. Handles exotics most mechanics wouldn't touch. Interesting shop, treats his help like family. Relationships and cameos with Hoovie, EuroAsian Bob and the Car Ninja give the show a reality show feeling.
3. Eric the Car Guy. Solid, reliable advice. Calming demeanor.
4. Car Ninja. BMW oracle. Genuinely nice person. What a mechanic ought to be.
5. Scotty Kilmer. Biased, opinionated, endlessly amusing.
6. The Car Care Nut. Toyota sage. AMD is straight forward and trustworthy. Advice easily applied to non-Toyotas.
7. Chris Fix. A phantom. The Lone Ranger of auto repair. Great advice w/o any needless banter.
8. Memphis. Young Belgian mechanic gives his show a European flavor. He and his merry band of friends tackle some cars not seen on these shores.

That's my list, ➕yours.

Probably some I’m forgetting since I watch so many but those are definitely some good ones to watch.

The Humble Mechanic as his step by step videos helped me a few times when I owned a VW GTI.

Side note: I'm a semi truck mechanic and considered making my own YouTube channel when I moved to 5 acres.
But I'd have to start wrenching on semis on the side at home with little chance to become successful.

Give it a go, you never know what may happen.

He's good. Should have added to my list. VW biased but like the Car Nut advice is good for anything w/four wheels. Let me add Mercedessource. another passionate mechanic. Benz biased.

I have found all of the YouTube mechanics listed to have some good videos,...well except Scotty "Toyota Celica" Kilmer.
