When using a random orbital buffer which bonnet do you use for putting the wax on and taking it off ? I've always used a foam pad for putting on the wax and a cloth type for taking it off . Is this the best way to wax with the buffer ? Thanks Drg

I use either the red or black soft foam pad to put wax on. To take it off I put a microfiber bonnet over a clean pad (cushions it) to take the dry wax residue off.

I use the softest/least aggressive foam pad that I can for applying, and then use a number of soft microfiber cloths with the right detailing spray for the product to help remove.

The cotton terry bonnet is going to have a little more "bite" for polishing, so I'd use that to apply wax. Removal is best done by hand with a clean microfiber towel. If you applied the wax thinly, it should just come off with a swipe, no rubbing or buffing needed.

I do as you. A foam pad w/no cut and a microfiber towel to remove.
