Is this for real? That giant RAM badge has to be one of the dumbest things I've ever seen.

Not just rams though. Most any are.

Lots of short bed, crew cab diesels that have never seen a load heavier than the missus and two rollaboard bags...

I peeled the 4x4 stickers off my truck. They were too big for my tastes. The next step for RAM is to install dual 102 inch whip CB antenna with RAM flags on top.

Mines a short bed crew cab diesel. In the summer it sees loads excess of 8-9000lb. Sometimes around 12,000 and more.

I saw a new one yesterday with the Eco diesel. I don't recall seeing those jumbo letters though. I'll have to pay more attention. The one I saw was black and looked good.

Maybe they have a delete option. The truck while nice is pretty gaudy at the same time with the ram on hood and other items.

Call me a car snob but the new pickup trucks are quite showy and gaudy. No real class to them if there ever was some.

I'm glad I got a 2015 model without that awful huge RAM on the front and back. I have seen several of them around here and I'm not impressed. Mine isn't loaded up with a bunch of fake chrome either. The only chrome is the front bumper, grill outline and rear bumper.

And while most days mine can be seen empty, it regularly yanks our 9k lb camper around. It's been "off road" as one can get in PA.

But the point is that in the truck space, unless things have changed, Ram is the weakest of the bunch. Definitely weakest in the 1500 space in payload, towing, and power.

Thought the giant RAM logo only came on the Rebel edition of the truck. Could be wrong.

Not a fan of the Rebel version. The regular versions look sharp and those who have them seem to like them. Have to watch the payload though - they tend to be low, making overloading while towing pretty easy...

Yeah, those weak RAMS. 395 very willing Hemi sized Horsepower and an eight speed slushbox that is revered for fast shifting. Especially slow with the 3.91 gears and LSD.

Weak...

Real weak. Mine has seen approx. 13,000lb worth of trailer and bails and never said sh$t. I regularly tow 10,000lb of horse and trailer all across the prairies and the thing asks for more. Great truck.
