Most all of it is junk.Sad but trueUnfortunately, there is a lot of junk out there these days as far as aftermarket suspension and steering parts. Even formerly reliable brands are hit or miss.
Having dealt with lower ball joints on a Chevy, and if you are planning on keeping the truck, I would consider new upper and lower control arms with the ball joints already stalled. Might as well do the outer tie rod ends. Then look into everything else. You dont say what year or 4wd or not , But I would use OEM ball joints, and the depending on year, the oem updated tie rod/drag link assy. The tie rod setup is WAY beefier then original. And the oem ball joints use a delrin style bearing in them. A solid metal ball joint adds alot of stiction, and you will find you are always "steering" more....feels like it wanders. We get that complaint alot at work, and these 2 things make a huge difference in how they drive. There is also (again depending on year)updated steering box that is alot bigger/bigger bearings, that also helps feel alot.
This probably does not have control arms unless its old.Having dealt with lower ball joints on a Chevy, and if you are planning on keeping the truck, I would consider new upper and lower control arms with the ball joints already stalled. To check things out, get both front wheels off the ground. Get a friend to use a crowbar under each tire and look for relative movement between the lower and upper half of each ball joint. Replace everything in pairs. Good luck.
Yes, I see now. Quite different from a Chevy. This probably does not have control arms unless its old.
