Both of my wipers are torn at the ends and I have a state inspection comming this month. I bought 2 Rain-X Latitude wipers for my 04 Altima using the PepBoys 10% discount on the 2 blades while also purchacing another Rain-X product(specific), I will reveive a $15.00 PB's gift card by mail.

So far, I like these blades. They're the beam style and really seem to hug the windshield nicely. The blade material is rubber not silicone. They seem to rate well with readers reviews as well as consumer magazines and what I could find online. Well, it is almost summer, nice weather to say the least and the blades are new so I kind of expect them to work well. Had some rain the other day but cold weather with slush/ice/snow will be the real test. We'll see how well they work as they age. All comments are welcome!

I have used them on all of my cars since they were first introduced years ago. I change them every year or two. I personally think they are very good blades.

As a general FYI, I have had positive results in extending the useful life of wiper blades by giving them a thorough wipe down with a 3M kitchen scotch pad or equivalent.

I had Lattitudes on this winter until during a snowstorm the plastic bracket which attaches to the wiper arm cracked and threw the wiper off the arm. I now use Trico Flex.

IMO, regular blades have not worked as well as the beam blades I've tried. This includes pricy ones such as the Bosch Microedge Excel.

I gave up on pricey wiper blades. Fancy theory = streaks, chatters, etc.
I recently bought the cheapest ones I could find at Walmart, and they perform superbly.

I have them on every vehicle I own. They work great, seem to last a long time, and don't have the snow/ice buildup that conventional blades have in the winter.

I purchased mine from Amazon during a 2 for 1 sale about a year ago. As I remember the price worked out to about $8 per blade.

Don't bother, just stay with the OE Honda inserts-- they are very inexpensive and work just as well as these fancy beam style blades.

i just put a set on my sidekick, the old brand unknown blades were smearing badly.tractor supply $8 each.now i just have to wait for another of georgia's famous thunderstorms to test them.

I've had trouble with the cheaper blades causing chatter against the windshield within a few months. Noisy and they didn't wipe clean. And Im sorry but, I need to see! I always made sure that I installed the cheaper blades as late in the year toward winter as possible. But with road salt and windshield washer fluid (with all of the alcohol so it won't freeze) and sub zero tempuratures, the blades would viberate/chatter and not wipe well in just a few months(their fine in the summer months) but would need replacement before the next winter again. So, it seemed like I was always buying new blades. I need wipers that can handle all of those things winter issues year after year.

I have had good succuss with the Bosch Micro Edge"Excel"(3 + yrs) but they don't make the "Excel" version any longer that I can find, just the Micro Edge. I wanted to try the beam style blades and I've heard good things about the Rain-X Latitudes.

I do something similar to "bigdreama" as-far-as keeping the blades clean with a Scotch-Brite(a little too coarse for my taste) or fine emmery(as I use), using water or soap(or ammonia as I do) to help the light abrassive slide over the blades(don't do this dry) and treating the rubber blades with ammonia to help keep the rubber soft and plyable. As rubber ages it get hard/brittle and the blades don't wipe well. This is a very old trick that I heard from the real ol'timers. Ammonia keeps rubber soft, for a while until you have to do it again.

Had good sucess with the standard Rain-X from WalMart. Currently using Trico Neoforms that I picked up at a AAP bogo. Ended up about $10 each. Not real impressed, already streaking, no better than standard Rain-X's IMO. The Trico aftermarkets just are not as good as OEM blades. Will probably go back to the $8 rain-x this november.

Sorry, beg to differ. The OEM blades that came with my Civic chattered very early on, so did every other regular blade I tried. Put on a pair of beams and voila, no more chatter.

You need to degrease and clay your windshield. I've found that giving your windshield a thorough cleaning resolves a lot of chattering issues.
