Awesome picture album, men of legend.

Met a P-47 Thunderbolt pilot earlier last year (WWII Veteran hat) at Walgreens. He was with his wife shopping. I thanked him for his service and asked what campaign he was in. 1945 in Italy, didn't see much combat except for 1 downed German plane. The war was almost over by that point. His 99th birthday was coming up, didn't seem that old at all, he wasn't in a motorized scooter or pushing a shopping cart either.
