It's not every day that you get to race with Sammy Swindell in your own equipment. I qualified 14.763 Sammy was second quick at 14.769…. Attached is some video of our heat race with a camera, mounted to the cage of my car.

Sammy is a true legend in our sport and getting to race with him and learn from him as an experience second to none.

OMG... getting to race with Sammy is the equivalent to racing with Sr, in a Cup car!

AND, You qualified only six thousands behind him. Well done! 😀

Edit: just watched the race video. Nice race for sure!

That looks intense! I did not see any drifting around the turns from #11.

Looks like your car has a lot of power since you caught up with different cars while videoing the race. I remember the name Sammy S but it was a long time since I have ever heard it. I believe he must have raced locally in my area at Huset's Speedway possibly. Anyway nice video and it looks like a blast!

That is so cool! I’m impressed with the speed, and the amount of steering input required. So many, frequent, large corrections and inputs.

You guys make it look easy from the stands, but you are really working out there!

If you want to see steering input, check out some of The World of Outlaw videos on Youtube where they are racing on the dirt. It's really wild, almost violent, stuff. I don't know how that left front stays attached to the car sometimes.
