Quicksilver is now available? Sheesh.

That Midnight Cherry Red is BEAUTIFUL! I'm a sucker for white and black and everything else sucks but since I've been buying used color has been kinda random. Right now I have "ugly GM silver-bluish" and "ugly GM beige-gold" in the driveway. But if I was ordering a new Tesla today I'd have to go for that "Midnight Cherry Red" if it was available (doesn't look to be, based on the website).
Ya hafta go to Berlin.

Looks great!

I love the high end colors they offer on vehicles especially that flat black on MB.
Mercedes is killing it on the special colors. I wanted a CLA45 AMG in that weird metallic pink color. It was unique and not crazy pink.

I have a buddy looking at buying this Mercedes E63 AMG now. The satin silver is sweet.

Love that color - even better parked in my driveway. I get to use the bosses rigs every now and then.

What monster.

My problem with any silver paint is matching it after a few years in the sun.

these new Quicksilver and Midnight Cherry Red paints have up to 13 layers of paint to give them the look of hand-painted colors.
They remind me of the "candy apple" paints, where a silver or gold base paint is then covered with a translucent paint of the color you want, and clear coat. I've repainted quite a bit of this plane with its candy apple. Obviously, this is not a good pic. When in the sun, it really pops nicely.

And of course, candy apple red over charcoal:

I definitely don’t have the access I used to. I spent every day in Ferraris for awhile. I’ve owned Jaguars but they were always used. I’m sure with my current income I could find a way to make something crazy happen, but as much as I love cars it’s just not in my nature.

I am not a fan of anything other than metallic, well clear coated charcoal gray. Once the paint starts looking more sliver than charcoal, I avoid it. My Jag is almost right, just a touch too light for perfection.

She's a beaut! I've always loved the F-Type. When I was buying muscle cars I didn't have any kids. I had my 2004 GTO when my first child was born, but with no back seats the F-Type never happened. I had plans at one point to buy the XJL-R, but I'm no where near a dealer here in Wisconsin and I remember my service experience with my S-Type and XJ Vanden Plas. I spent a lot of time there. Gaudin in Las Vegas was absolutely wonderful when I lived there, but the cost was astronomical when issues arose and when it was beyond my tool collection or ability.
