Hi Yall

I need to replace my right upper ball joint. I am not that familiar with suspension parts manufacturers.
What are some good brands that will actually last a few years?

I have bought some after market garbage before - - just wondering what to stay away from.

Thanks

What kind of car is this for?

For example, it is relatively easy to get OEM parts for Ford and GM, and many of them are available on Rock Auto

I would try to find oe parts if possible. I managed to find Sankei 555 ball joints for both of my Hondas on ebay for a really good price. If you can find the honda part number plug it into ebay or amazon and see what you can find. Honda most likely sells the upper as an assembly already pressed into the control arm.
I think this is the part number 51450-SDA-A13

OEM! Aftermarket is hit and miss. Moog parts are made in China. If you can find new old stock on ebay. Like aforementioned poster, use OEM # for search. Good luck!

Sankei 555 is a good brand for Japanese suspension parts. They are made in Japan.

Proforged and Delphi are also good if you can't find or afford Sankei, or if you need something Sankei doesn't make for your Accord. Proforged parts are made in Taiwan, but they are very good quality. Delphi's suspension parts are made in Turkey by Disa/Deeza.

Moog is hit-or-miss. Sometimes you get US-made Moog, sometime you get reboxed OEM from Japan, sometimes reboxed Deeza from Turkey, sometimes cheap Chinese junk.

I've had good success with them, others, not so much...
YMMV.
Heck no!

Oh [censored] yes! Japanese car = 555. You can try Beck Arnley, they seem to be quietly storming back. MAKE SURE you get made in Taiwan as opposed to chinesium whatever you do!

Other than OE look at the Napa Pro line, open the box and look for 555 on the part. Don't waste your money with Moog, Pro forged are proving to be very good.
