Questions on Jetta maintenance

In my experience, the engine air filter replacement interval *always* has a stipulation about use in dusty areas/dirt roads. I find it hard to believe they just said 60,000 miles and nothing more. And yes 60k is a very long service life for an engine air filter, even in ideal conditions.

I can’t find anywhere in the manual where it specifies that.
