I have a 95 F150 with 125,000 miles on it and I am thinking about using (auto rx) at the next oci. What I am wondering is will (auto rx) clean the engine just as good at normal everyday driving say maybe a total of 10-20 miles +/- per day ? Or does (auto rx) clean better when the vehicle is driven longer with more miles put on it between shut downs? I would think the latter would do a much better job at cleaning. I looked at the rx web site and it didnt state as to which would be the best method for using the product. If it does not make a difference then I will use the product at the next oci or I will wait until a trip is planned - thank you

Say you make 10 mile trips.

We'll give your engine 3 miles to warm up enough for auto-rx to work (not fully warm).

Now you're looking at 1050 miles of at temp cleaning. If you're lucky you get to average 45 mph.

23 hours of cleaning time

If you take a 1500 mile trip and average 65 mph then you get 23 hours of cleaning time. If you average 75 mph you get 20 hours.

So it really doesn't matter much. Actually, if you take 20 mile city trips you get more cleaning time.
