I am looking for information on oil viscosity, cant seems to find and specific answers on line. I am wondering what viscosity I want for applications such as paintball / air tools to lube o-rings and seals. I know visocity changes with weather, so would I get better performance with different oils in summer / winter (I live in Canada so temperature I would be using it in can go from -10 to +40)

I get all kinds of answers just telling me what brand to buy etc, but im the kind of person who likes to know the details behind it, id love to know what viscosity and the like to use in different temperatures etc rather then (buy one that sais it can be used for paintball, or buy one with this temperature range on it) I already have all kinds of oils already, some work better then others, but im trying to learn a bit more behind it rather then just using what im told in the future. generally ive been using master craft air tool oil from Canadian tire, but I dont even know what viscosity it is or anything other then that its air tool oil.

Thanks in advance!
