Question about Bulb for 04 Sunfire

Hey, I'm looking to "upgrade" the headlights on my car. They are the H11 bulb type.

Question, buying a XenTec H11 6000K Xenon Bulb should work in my car right?

Am I missing anything? I always thought Xenon (like my friend's BMW) is a gas in a large circular container that takes extreme voltage to light.

I go to work at 4:30am and don't get home till 6 = lots of dark driving (especially in winter).

Will these bulbs work for my low beam lights?

you need the HID conversion kit to make those work.

The "Xenon" used in halogen bulbs is only 5% or so. Too much Xenon in a halogen bulb would cause arcing in the bulb, which is partially why HID bulbs use it. Secondly ALL OEM car manufacturers use Either Philips 4100K or Osram-Sylvania 4300K bulbs from the factory. Some new cars are starting to use D4S mercury free HID bulbs which output slightly higher lumens (actual light) and are 4400K or so (Daylight is 5250k). If your friend actually is using a 6000k bulb he probably is using a Philips Ulniton 5800k bulb that was designed for the Japanese market I'm pretty sure. The higher the kelven temp the less light output and more glare the bulb will emit. Sorry for the long post I know it's fairly detailed, and will hopefully help you and other forum members.
