just tonight had this oil put in my 2007 ford focus is it a group 3? and is it any good?

I've tried it in my 01' Durango v-8 0nce and found it be a fanatstic oil/synthetic. I think it was the "Q" horsepower version in 5W-30. Feel confident it'll do the job for your needs.

I agree, I just got an analysis back of the QS synthetic 5w-30 which showed excellent wear numbers. Hope to be posting the analysis soon....don't know what group the base oil is, I'd assume it's a 3.

You should have asked before you put it in.

But yes, it's pretty good and I'm running it. There's a strong VOA in the analysis section that shows it's pretty close to Pennzoil Platinum...

I use it in my 2006 Scion TC with the 2.4 Yota motor. The motor likes it better than Mobil 1 regular.

It is a Group III synthetic.

It is the same price at my local WM.
$20.00 for 5qt jugs.

I prefer the PP. A little different base stock and a different additive package. Both good oils.

Thanks Johnny, I'll continue to go with the PP, unless I get a deal on the QS.

When I put it in my car a few weeks ago it had the highest oil pressure of any oil I've ever had in it. Now, it's significantly lower after about 800 miles. I'm wondering if it shears as badly as the 5W-30?
