It is/was Porsche A40 Approved through July 31st, 2021 as per this NHTSA doc I don't know if the approval was extended as of the time of this post.

I bought 5 jugs few months ago on WM online for $13.95.
I got 5W-40 Ravenol VST for 2 more OC and then QS.
My manual calls for 502.00 so I am sure the QS will do just fine and it's way cheaper then Ravenol.
Quaker State Ultimate Durability Euro 5W-40 is getting replaced with QS FS Euro 5W-40.

Picked up a bunch of it when it was clearanced several months back.
The new stock coming out should be SP. Bonus.
While at my local Walmart a few weeks ago they had this same oil on clearance. It was $15 for the 5 qt. containers, and $2.50 per qt.
Looks like a good oil.

I’ve never seen this oil at Walmart, didn’t know it existed...I would have picked some up if I had. The only thing I’m able to get at Walmart for our Mercedes is Mobil 1 and...I think a Valvoline European formula.

I got a load of it when it went in store clearance a few months ago. Have not seen it since locally but it sounds like it's still floating around in the system for some.
The price was fantastic for a GTL oil with a host of approvals, I couldn't resist. It even uses a GDI friendly formulation which is not real common in 5w40s.

Quaker State Euro is how SOPUS exterminates their remaining stock of older helix ultra/ppe.
During the great SM purge of 2011 they did the same thing.
Are those all GTL oils?
Some use Group III base stocks based on GTL, yes. Why?
Do you have an opinion if mixing GTL oil with crude based oils is safe?
I put in in my 2.7 F150 Ecoboost last month.
Safe? Whatever approvals, licenses and specifications the oil meets is what is important. I don’t worry about base stocks at all.
