QSUD 5-30, 7688mi, 2.2 Ecotec (04 Saturn Ion)

This is, originally, 6qts of QSUD 5-30. It was in for about seven months. I added 1qt of Mag1 10-30 All-Fleet at about 6000mi for top off, and one pint of Rislone Compression Repair about 400-500 miles before the CHG OIL light went off.

Iron seems pretty high at 5.2ppm/1000mi. 12.4 @ 100cst is thicker than it should be. TBN seems good.

NAPA oil analysis kit; took about 12 days from mailing the sample to getting the results.

I would imagine some of that iron is from the compression repair stuff.

The Rislone Compression Repair raised your oil viscosity levels. IF it were my vehicle, I'd be doing 5K oil changes.

It did wonders for my Caravan, so I thought I'd put the other pint in the Saturn to see how it did there.
