Thanks, Buster, for digging this up. I dont understand how the tbn would be 6.5 with the Ca at 2650. OTW, looks good on paper if you want a thick 30.

I think the Tbn is more like 7-8 most likely. I know some labs have an issue reporting Tbn for some reason.

Wasnt blackstone was it? The zinc is too high to be them lol.I thought it was around 1000 and was going to try rotella but if that is right i am sticking with Defy! How is the 5 w30 for viscosity anyone know? My regal calls for 10w but many sites recommend 5w.

I may try 10W30 QS Defy for my next OCI in my 1965 Mustang 289.... 60K original miles. Looks like a nice oil for shorter OCI's in my stang, especially since it is priced well.

5w30 is goin' in the Camry this weekend. It leaks a little at the rear seal with Maxlife, so it'll be interesting to see if the leak gets better or worse with Defy.

The sodium used in motor oils is another form of oil soluble deteregent.

Put the Defy 10w30 in my 96 Cherokee. The Jeep loves it. Runs smooth and quiet. It is going in the 97 Altima next oil change.
