Very interesting look to the media. It's pleats are already wavey

But in all seriousness, the filter seems very well made and hasn't changed it's construction(distorted) during the 10K km OCI. Also seems as though the filter could have gone much longer or, used for a 2nd OCI.

Very good!

More shots of another filter that came out of a friend's Peugeot, no tears or deformation of the media.
He is following the manufacturer interval of 10,000 km (6,200 mi), although now I am thinkning that 10,000 km is a very short interval, I am considering to extend the interval to 15,000 kms (10,000 mi) or maybe keep the same interval but change the filter every other oil change.

Just as a side note, over the weekend I went to a Honda and to a Renault dealership to check out some cars and now both are pushing for 5,000 km (3,000 mi) OCI, what will be next, every 2,500 km????
