I went to review your particle tests on the Toyota/Denso vs P1/Classic. The Toy/Denso particles in the bottom of the clear tube really makes the point. The difference is impressive, filtration not close.

Some of the Toyota filters are made in USA and Thailand. Are they both made by Denso?

I wouldn't bother with a 6k oil change with M1, PU, Edge, RP, SP, RL, Ams..... Stick with the 10k or at least once a year interval, especially if you're a commuter. Short trippers might have a moisture/fuel-dilution issue and should cut interval to 5k/6mo.

Filter choice is irrelevant as long as you use a synthetic oil and keep it topped off.

I use whatever filter is on sale. If you want to use an OE filter, use the V6/V8 Toyota oil filter. Fits fine and will give you a bit more media for the 10k extended oil interval.

I assume so, as Toyota owns Denso.
