PureOne flow ratings?

I called purolator and asked for some beta and flow specs on 2 particular filters and the guy gave me engineering's number. I called it, guy was sketchy on the flow. he didn't really answer my Question. he said... 3-6gpm, i've seen them up to 17gpm. Kind of a politicians answer. he said the beta ratio for all the filters were the same b/c they all use the same media. I'm trying to figure out how much the PL10241 and PL20195 flow and beta ratios for them.

Well, what were the beta numbers for the pure one line that he told you?

The flow is completely adequate for the engine the filter is designed for. That is critical to good operation of the filter, and every filter maker includes this the the filter they recommend for any engine.

P1 didn't give me specific beta ratios for each filter. engineering tech guy said they all have the same b/c it's the same media in all the filters. so they're all like 99% and 98& or somin.

If you're concerned about flow, just go oversize. More media=less resistance.

yeah, I am. just going with the "tall" version of my stock filter. it's like 1.38" taller. Identical in every other way possible. I just don't want it going into Bypass. Especially with me going to a 15w40 oil.

Even at the low end of 3gpm, that's still more than your pump is likely to push, isn't it?

i don't know what a 3VZ oil pump pushes. I tried searing for a spec... no where to be found.
