Better priced than most of the other syns, so I'm giving it a shot. Does this stuff have the same cleaning ability as PP claims to have? Not that I need that..my engine is already clean. I keep it that way, but only curious.

If you haven't already, check the Sales and Rebates section of this forum for a $5 rebate on 5qts of Synpower

Synpower is GREAT stuff. I've been using it for the past 20k in the Jeep and the motor is absolutely spotless inside. Silky smooth too.

This must be a misprint.

I think he meant, he's used it for the past 20k but has changed it a certain number of times thus far. has to be. right?

sparkplug?

Synpower has recently picked up GM 4718M and has improved the oil's deposit control. I'd say it's on par with PP/M1's. Good oil. Synpower has not always been as good as it is now btw.

I thought about runnin' Synpower (for next OC) since it was the slightly cheaper of the big two, but today i noticed that PP is currently a $1 cheaper at $20 a 5qt jug at WM...gotta save that almighty dollar whenever possible!!!

stranegly, it's not on the most recent GM approved list. Someone reported on this forum, that he called Valvoline, and was told Synpower is not on GM's list, and will never be on that list........weird.
