....Smells like a mixture of a nasty Scotch and NyQuil.

Hey SOPUS....What marketing genius decided to place a gasoline rebate number under the cap on a bottle that is not foil sealed? Most MBAs are just not capable of rationally thinking things thru.

Make sure the other seal is in place. IF you do, you can get the code, others haven't, and Shell gives you $1/gal off. Woo Hoo!

... I see the problem: Memphis is not IN ky, you know... Geo-confused there man....

Here in KC, Shell stations are few and far between. And most of them are old and rundown. A few have been busted for selling K2, illegal in Missouri. There was one close but it shut down several years ago, and the pumps are gone. Never a good sign. When I had my Accord it loved Shell 87 octane. Idled so smooth after warming up. Whenever I see a Shell station ahead I always top off, if it will take more than 5 or 6 gallons. When I put it in the Tacoma the same butter smooth idle will reappear in a few days. You will just notice it sitting at red lights.

IMO a newish, clean, well lit Shell station would go over. To capture the female trade,(essential for survival) the things I listed above, plus always being busy will bring in the buyers of both sexes. Quality, safety, and image always sell, and currently they do not have any of those attributes IMO.

Got a low mileage 2000 porsche boxster S 3,2 and was wondering if I could use si1 in fuel while its in storage to help fuel in tank? Also in my 12' hyundai accent I have had a horrible time finding PU 5w30 and am using PP 5w30 or Redline 5w30, was wondering if I can't find PU of using 1 qt RL in a 3qt sump of PP to help lower Noack numbers without causing problems?

These modern oils have definitely taken on an alcohol smell in the last few years.

I've even read somewhere that certain elements of the oil is actually derived from wood alcohol.
