Too bad you don’t have Rural King closer. Mine is 3 miles away. Great folks working there and lots of stuff to see and browse.I’m a lot farther from them than you are. No worries.

It was very quick—disregard the dates on the report. The slowest part was me shipping it after sampling and then uploading it after receiving the report lolHow long did it take to get your report?
So online the 5 gallon bucket of 5w40 is $79.99 so $4/gallon ain’t bad price I think.I wish I did have one, even if I had to drive some to get to it. We have Atwoods and TSC.
It figures out to 5.99/ gallon shipping + 79.99 + 11.80 tax for me. That puts it within a dollar of what I get VPBE for locally and in any quantity. But I do like what the Providence oil looks like in the UOA.So online the 5 gallon bucket of 5w40 is $79.99 so $4/gallon ain’t bad price I think.
All the CK-4/SP HDEO's I've seen have <800 PPM Phosphorus. This one is way over that. LOLI was referring to the lower calcium ppm in SP as opposed to SN. Funny that the calcium is low, well within SP range.....but not rated SP. I guess it has to do with other factors, such as ZDDP, being above limits for SP rating.
I wonder if this would be proper for use in a DI gas engine? That would be a great choice for my old 6.2 Diesel....or so my uninformed mind would think.
Justin; the only Providence HDEO OIL that’s CK4//SP is their 15w40All the CK-4/SP HDEO's I've seen have <800 PPM Phosphorus. This one is way over that. LOL
Can't believe there's still some 6.2L lurking around. Nice

I may just grab a gallon as shipping isn’t cheaphmmm
Interesting The store house brands seem to be a good value. We have tractor supply and a few others that have decent prices.Justin; the only Providence HDEO OIL that’s CK4//SP is their 15w40

@burbguy82: Check out their 10w30 VOA I did while back
Tractor Supply stuff is high. The Providence 20w30 blend is still $16.99 and only CK4 rated.Interesting The store house brands seem to be a good value. We have tractor supply and a few others that have decent prices.
What’s interesting is my gallon I got today is silver. Probably same oil as it’s CK4/SNHey @fantastic here is another diesel motor oil for your database.
