I am used to using Wix/Napa Gold oil filters. I can get a good buy on ProSelect filters at the dealership where I work. Cost plus 10%. Using the dealerships bulk oil (MotorCraft 5w20) at cost plus 10%, puts me into an oil change at under $15. I haven't checked to see what I can get my Napa oil filters for through the dealership, but I did buy a case on sale at about $3 per filter retail.

Anyway, is anyone familiar with who makes ProSelect filters and how do they stack up against other filters?

They are made by Wix as well. Here at work we use Proselect. I would venture to guess they fall in the rough equivalence of Purolator Classics.

As an aside, my last OCI was about 10k miles (per GM Oil Life Monitor) with 150 mile per day round trip hwy driving. My commutes now will be about 15 miles per day round trip (to work, home for lunch, back to work, back home). With such cheap costs and shorter driving habits, will change out somewhere betweek 3k and 5k.
