I could care less.

A internet forum is a global place for people to exchange ideas, not a piece of literature.
I believe the expression is "I couldn't care less". Think about it.

And of course to, too, and two.
And, unbelievably, to. It blows me away when people use these three words interchangeably. These are single syllable words that we all learned when we were very young. I'm guessing they were on our first grade spelling tests? IDK. That was a long time ago.

Less and fewer

Because I am old enough to have attended grammar school and not middle school grammatical rules matter. For example when to use the subjunctive mood verb form or past tense.

Treating the written language with care and precision is very important. When rules are ignored or discarded it might signal a culture in decline.

Lets talk about irregardless. Is that a word? Should it be? It's considered non-standard. I have a co-worker that goes nuts if you use it, so I, of course, use it as much as I can. She said you should just use "regardless."

:)
I'm with your colleague on that one. Irregardless drives me nuts too. Irrespective is usually the proper term.

To a point. I get it.

That said, the corruption of the English language needs no further assistance. Write and speak correctly. Accuracy and precision are a good thing. In writing, learning just a few things, makes posts more clear and does not take extra time.

And yes I know my posts are filled with typographical/keyboard errors (most likely Pablo error = missing words!)

When you work in corporate America, you absolutely must use proper English if you want to be taken seriously.
