I saw this product sheet and was impressed with its test results. I was comparing it with other multipurpose greases and it seems to have a higher drop point as well as EP results, washout, corrosion resistance, etc than other popular multipurpose greases out there like Lucas Red and Tacky that I was originally planning on buying.
I ended up with a tube of the Prolong and have been using it on various u joints, ball joints, slip yokes and the like. It seems perfectly fine, although I haven’t used it in any really tough applications. Visually, it’s a smooth dark green grease, very tacky. Anyone have experience with this grease? Thoughts, comments?
