Pro-Tec PXL57356 C&P

Off of a 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer 2.4, currently sitting at 134,200 miles. It was on the car for 5,200~ miles/3 months~. Used with Kirkland 0W-20.

Quartz 9000 Xtra Future FGC 0W-20 & a MZ690072 went back on.

The 57356 we used to get last year were USA made, completely different internals.

Date code is 03/15/24. Surprised is uses holes and not louvers.

Thanks for the C&P. I have a case of these exact filters stamped XXXX23- which I purchased from RockAuto sometimes in 2023. Mine have round holes in the core and also produced in China. I use these longer filters in 2011 Hondas with L15 and K24 motors.

I’m thinking about buying a case from rock auto. Yours still working good? They seem to be pretty good quality for how cheap they are. I’ve also been looking at the Pronto PO4610HN1.

Looks decent. Any Pro-Tec filter made in China is a upgrade the way I look at it.
