It was confirmed by I believe @Glenda W. with a phone call to Premium Guard that the info on their website was backwards. This was pointed out in a thread or two here.

Yes. The micron rating was backwards. The EX has been corrected to show a micron rating of 25 that @Ronn has posted indicating 99.9%@25. Last I checked the regular 5k filter was still incorrect.

Bottom line: I don’t think you can go wrong with any of these PGI branded filters.
