Did Walmart discontinue selling Pennzoil Platinum 5W20 in the 5 Qt. Jugs? I just searched 4 stores in Mass. and New Hampshire and could find none. They only had quart bottles at $4.97/ea.
I guess I should have bought more of the $18-18 jugs, when I had a chance!

I saw some here last night, but they weren't $18 each. Only the QS synth product was priced that low for the 5-quart jug. It's probably just as good as the PZ offering for 5-7K drains.

It seems to be on a store by store basis. 5 qt jugs of m1 ep 5-20 or 30 is $28 Reg m1 is $21. Call around before you go.

Went to Wally World last night and all they had in 5w-20 jugs was Mobil 1. Only a couple of choices in the quart containers. I now have Mobil in the car cause I had no time to go anywhere else.

Yeah, but you got a good oil at a good price and did not burn xtra gas lookin' around. Could be worse.

I do agree. I did get a good oil at a good price. But, I does likes my Penzoil Platinum better. I did however burn extra gas driving back up there at 9:30 at night to buy more transmission fluid because I had to pull the pan a second time due to a leak. It was not a good night.

Sorry,re the Pan. I've really cut down my driving and cold starts by planning my errands, guess everyone is with these gas prices.

I was working in the Northborough store last week and saw jugs of PP 5w20 there. I bought a jug of it at the North Oxford store about 2 months ago. Not sure how far they are from you but call these 2 stores and see if they still have it.

2nd option, go to the nearest walmart and talk to the person in charge of the automotive section and have them order you a jug. If he/she says no they cant or dont know how to, tell him/her that you will contact the area manager if he/she cant and they can usually show them how to order it. From working at wal-mart, I have learnt that most of the section managers just dont know how to order an item rather than not being able to order it.

Unused motor oil is considered a hazardous material and used motor oil is considered hazardous waste.
