I have little use for an 'oil burning' car but a quart in nearly 12K wouldn't bother me at all.
Any car that I've ever had that used oil didn't show (usage) until 3 or 4K. The most I've ever had to add was a 1/2 quart after 4 or 5K. I'm sure this Ford wouldn't need a drop if it was changed at a 5 or 6K OCI.
I'd be fine with that....
Catherham: Has PP always been the "lighest 5w20 on the market" or is this only true for the SN version?
I have used SM PP 5w20 but I didn't know it was so good in the cold? How does Valvoline Synpower rate?
