Power Steering Fluid changed 2001 Taurus (Nasty)

That depends on the expert and his agenda.

The dealer expert wants you to believe the cars are inexpensive to maintain. The cars last through warranty but bring businees to the dealer later on.

The steering rack rebuilder expert wants his product to last through his warranty. Because of the earlier failure the fluid can be horribly contaminated so he recommends a full flush.

Tell it to the new owner, I sold that car with 194K miles and it was running *perfectly*.

I miss it.
