Power steering filters and coolers?

I was thinkin....

Would there be any reason not to put a filter on a Ps system?

Thinkin of an oil filter relocator that accepts a 30001, 51515, p8ha filter, plumb it in on the return side.

The filter would not know the difference between dexron and engine oil would it?

Could use a smaller #3614 filter if space is an issue?

How about using an aftermarket trans cooler for the Ps also?

I haven't seen the need for a cooler...I use synthetic ATF. I've installed an in-line transmission filter, Magnefine or SPXFiltran brands, in the return line to the PS reservoir.
