When I had to replace the weeping hoses on mine I just wire brushed it and sprayed it with black enamel. No pin hole leaks from rust yet.

Hopefully it will do alright. Dorman products are hit or miss usually.
Was it leaking? That looks like just surface rust. Probably could have gone another 10 years like that if you're in socal.
Looked at mine today as i was replacing headlamp assemblies. I replaced my ps cooler a few years ago with an AC delco OE and now it appears to be rusting again.
Maybe i should have tried dorman!
Not leaking at all. You are probably correct, but I wanna keep my truck running reliably for as long as possible and I don’t want it to leak while driving to another state as I do often
