So there is Power Lock, Power Lock Plus and Power Lock Ultra. Is each one a more advanced replacement for the prior or are they for slightly different applications?

I believe it’s an improvement over the previous formula and not so much an “advanced replacement.”
The Ultra label indicates it’s a “ceramic hybrid” formula. Their website claims longer durability for Ultra though we all know there are a few variables that determine durability.
As in one’s geographical location, especially if the vehicle sits outside in the elements, and whether you choose to hand wash your vehicle versus using “Bubba’s Swirl-O-Matic Drive Thru Carwash.”

The PowerLock lineup is a sealant and the Ultra adds a ceramic element to it.
I love Collinite 845S but I find a quality sealant like Powerlock provides longer durability with an easier on/off application while producing a reasonable shine.
