Can someone...anyone post a link to a supplier of a power flush machine for an AT. Does one really exist? I cannot imagine how it would work with the transmission's own pump in the flow. Or is a "power flush" just a normal flush but they charge you more?

I typed in "transmission flush machine" into my Google bar. Here's a sample of what I got.

Almost all transmission fluid change machines are just adding fluid back into the cooler line at the same rate that the transmission pump is pushing the OLD fluid out.
It is a fluid exchange........a key point here is FLUID ONLY.
No solvent chemicals added, just new transmission fluid.
The terminology "transmission flush" is used a LOT to describe the simple "fluid exchange".
Most quick lubes will do a "fluid exchange".....again, often called "flush" which makes many of us think of some power washer that is pumping fluid out at high pressure......which is NOT the case at all.

There is a machine called out in FORD documentation that pulses HOT transmission fluid (they specify to use ONLY ATF and no chemical cleaners).
This machine is NOT for transmissions, but for power flushing the in-radiator transmission fluid cooler.

Both use the transmissions own pump to do the work. So neither is a power flush. The first one has some mis-info on a normal flush machine and merely pushes fresh ATF into the transmission pump's intake.

My definition of a "power flush machine" is a machine that the machine itself provides the power to flush the fresh ATF through the transmission rather than the transmission pump. And I have yet to read about one like that.

Nice. Some folks will eat ANYTHING!

I also have searched far and wide for a "power flush" trans machine.

They simply do not exist around here. I stopped in at every trans shop and stealership I could for weeks trying to see what they serviced transmissions with. Every single one was a completely passive design, most are simply two vessels (one clean fluid, one for old) and the trans pump does the work.

If you consider how a transmission's ATF flow goes, then it would be nearly impossible to build a power flush machine nor would you want to. The only way would be to remove the pump and then pump with your power flush machine at a higher pressure than the transmission pump does to "power flush" out more crud. Who would be comfortable having the power flush machine push ATF at a higher pressure than the transmission pump does? And most shops probably would not be comfortable removing the transmission pump. They pull the pan and the filter and that is all they want to touch on the transmission.

In a side note, I had the pressure sensor and governor go twice on my Jeep and the scanner said the pressure was 50 lbs when it should have been 2. So I can half conclude the transmission can take a lot of pressure. Or maybe the pressure sensor was what was reporting the pressure to the scanner and the sensor was defective.
