Powder prices through the roof

Going for about $33 lb in my area. Limited on some types but I found HP38 ( Win 231} in good supply. Primers (if you can find any} and bullets for reloading have sky rocketed tho. Shop owner said all the primers go to big bullet makers who are running a year or more behind orders. With something like 21 Million NEW gun owners clamoring for ammo; its going to be a loooooog time before we see any let up. No telling what new administration will do either.

I'm trying to develop a load for my Browning 25-06. Back in the beginning of covid, I bought one pound of the 3 different powders I wanted to try during the load development process, all IMR (3031, 4064 & 4831). I settled on 4831 as the powder I wanted to use. Now I have 300 pieces of new Nosler brass and Barnes TSX bullets, but 4831 can't be found anywhere except to be raped on GB for it.

Overall though, I'm pretty good on powder but I only load the below 3 cals in bulk.
- 12Lbs VVN320 (9mm)
- 8Lbs WIN WST (45 ACP)
- 8Lbs IMR 4227 (subsonic 300BO)

I have IMR 3031 & 4064, but need some 4350 for the 6.5 Creedmoor with heavy bullets. Will wait until I found it at a more “normal” price.

I sold a bunch of primers (about 50,000) and some bullets and powder to buddies to foolishly did not stock up.

But I am done now. My wife has absolutely forbade me to sell any more stuff. I still have 100,000 primers, but who knows when this madness will end?
