Post your Wagyu here

I have wagyu a couple of times a year and this was the fattest ever. That's why I ate very little of it. It was the best wagyu I've had for sure.

These days I don't even eat a ribeye more often than once a month but I stick with leaner cuts like eye of round and sirloin.
I wish I could eat like that, hard to find options or places that know how to properly cook around here, the only reason I would consider moving to Cali, is food options for someone like me who is clueless about cooking.

My ex who was Brazilian knew how to cook different types of meats, we used to go to Denver Restaurant Depot to get different cuts of meat, my favorite was T-bone steak,

I can only imagine the better gym results if I ate protein like that.

It's over 80% fat. I will eat it only on rare occasions. I have mentioned before, these days I won't even eat a ribeye more often than once a month and I won't eat the whole thing. The bulk of my protein intake consists of skinless chicken breast, lean pork, lean beef, and a lot of fatty fish, and tofu. 75% of my food intake by volume is plant-based.

Did you enjoy it with steak sauce, or a bit of ketchup (the Heinz sold in Japan has a much shorter ingredient list)? ;)

In all seriousness, Wagyu isn't consumed like other types of beef.

While I do love a hunk of beef, consumed in more typical amounts, it would be impossibly rich, even if it wasn't so hard on the pocket book.

Which makes me question who buys those Wagyu rib roasts they sell at Costco, and if people try to consume cuts of it the same size as regular beef.

I put on muscle very easily, clean protein, especially from red meats, really help me, and once the proteins are cooked, I always remove the fat and cartilage and just eat the remaining juicy parts, and I never ever gain body fat from the "fats" of the proteins I consume.

I gain body fat from carb consumption, especially processed foods.

I never really put on body fat from carbs from foods like rice, etc...

My main concerns with regular and excessive high-fat meat are manifold. Not getting into it anymore as it's a hopeless endeavor and as of recently it's out of my line of occupation and I no longer feel obligated to provide information.

Funny man. In the old days, court jesters were often beheaded for their jokes. I'm not sure I want to test a wagyu chef who wields a sharp blade. *snick snick*

No idea, while I have been to Cistco I don't shop there. No idea about their meat other than that I had prime rib that a friend bought there. It was okay but nothing special. I only like the end piece anyway.

There are some who have bought entire Japanese A5 Wagyu brisket and smoked them American barbecue style. Brisket is certainly fatty, but that's just insane. Not sure if anyone has tried pastrami with it yet.
