Since Valvoline is now a site sponsor, I thought that it might be nice to show that we buy and use their oil.
I have the following:
NG Maxlife 10W-40, 2 jugs
NG 10W-40, 1 jug + five qts
NG 10w30, 1 jug
DB 10W-40, 11 qts
Maxlife 10W-40, 4 jugs
Maxlife 5w30, 15 qts
Synpower 10w30, 1 jugs + 3 qts
Synpower 5w30, 2 jugs + 3 qts

I have Valvoline products in two cars presently, soon to be three.
I will UOA the BMW and the Forester sometime in August, at the end of the Subie's present run of Synpower, and after the BMW does a run on NG Maxlife, which I'll change in this week.

NextGen 5w30- 7 5.1 quart jugs
Some motorcycle oils mostly 20w50
Loving it all the time

2 Gallons Nextgen 5w30 and 2 gallons Nextgen Maxlife 5W30.

Prior to moving 3 times in the past 4 months, I also had about 15 gallons of Valvoline Synpower 5W30. Had to sell that unfortunetaly. BUT it went to a Fellow BITOG'er!!!

I couldn't pass those "close the loop" promotions.

NextGen 5W30: 5 quarts
NextGen 5W20: 6 quarts
Maxlife NG 5W30: 20 quarts

5 quarts Synpower 5w30...going in the Jeep next oil change.
12 quarts Valvoline 10w30 conventional....my stash for my Dad's old GMC I inherited

There's a good chance I'll be getting some NextGen. As it is, my Valvoline stash is completely depleted. I used my last remnants of MaxLife (had been using that in the old F-150) in my snowblower.

I love using their 80w90 GL5 in conventional and Durablend, durablend grease, and their DOT 3/4 brake fluid. I still have 8 gallons of VPB 15w40 from a sale 2 years ago, but almost never buy their engine oils and apparently use them even less.

I'm not one to stash in general, but I likely will since you guys have reminded me of some of the excellent NextGen rebates available about there.

Valvoline normally has not been on my radar as of late, but they probably should be. "Valvoline" is plastered all over my garage. My grandfather used nothing but Valvoline, and had a huge (about 36" diameter) Valvoline shop sign in his garage that I received when he passed away. So it's proudly displayed in my garage. I have Mark Martin paraphernalia all over the place (the old-school Valvoline Mark Martin stuff), including old Valvoline oil cans, Valvoline checkered-flag race banners, etc.

So I guess I forgot that I'm a Valvoline fan.

one 5+jug 10w30 NexGen MaxLife
one 5+jug plus 5 quarts 10W-40 NexGen Maxlife
6 quarts Valvoline 20w50 conventional
4 gallons SynPower 5w30

All were "FREE! After mail-in Rebate" or almost so...

Cheers!
