post-wax water spots

Hello,

I did the 3-step Meguiar's and headed to the Carlisle show last weekend. Had a great time but then the skies opened up later in the day. Water beaded up real nice.


Sitting in traffic trying to get out and the beads dried up and left water spots. As you might imagine, with no show coming up I'd prefer not to do another 3-step wax again.

What's the best way to get the spots off without stripping the wax? I was thinking quick rinse and dry no soap?

Or should I do rinse and dry, then the carnuba?

I think you will be fine using a small amount of soap and a GENTLE rewash/dry. Then assess the situation. I bet you won't have to use any carnauba. You have to wash it though.
