Possible fuel dilution, oil ruined?

I was diagnosing a no start condition and when I put everything back together I didn’t seat one of the plug wires fully so one cylinder was either getting weak spark or no spark. The engine was not run for long, just enough to get it up to temperature. Should I consider the oil ruined and change it or should I simply get it up to temp and let the fuel evaporate? The engine holds 17 quarts.

Won't know until you do a used oil analysis. By then might as well get another oil change. Otherwise, most of the fuel will pass through the exhaust.

My DI cars will have the oil level raise slightly and never go back down regardless of how hard or long it’s run. If you’re confident the level didn’t raise then maybe you’re good. This is why I don’t use high dollar oil during Ohio winters.
