Positrac fluids

So, I have this and it calls for Positraction GM 992 867 differential fluid. What are my options these days?

Can you provide any links, specs or post a pic from the maintenance section of the manual? I'm not getting much from that GM #.

The specs are just what I gave, thats all I've got.

I'm pretty sure you're going to want a friction modified, 75W (75W90), GL5 gear oil for the diff which most MFGs would have. I would contact support for Amsoil, Red Line or Valvoline to see if they have more info.

Any idea which GM axle / diff is being used? Do you have a DOM (date of mfg) for this unit?

I think its 1984. I read somewhere its got Dana 44 guts but its a different housing.
