Please help: Fleetguard Oil Filter Source?

Hello,

I am 100% positive that I want to run a Fleetguard filter on my truck, but I cannot locate a good source to buy it from. I found only one site online with it, but for two filters, the shipping was $23 via UPS Ground... insane.

The filter I am looking for is: LF9027 (Venturi for 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel)

Please let me know any sources you may know of. A supporter of the board would be great!

In Canada they are sold at Cummin's truck parts stores. So if you have them in the US, try there.

Look in the phone book for just about any International Truck dealer. The 7.3L diesel is the T444E IH motor. Most of them will have the Fleetguard filters for this motor in stock. The only disadvantage I have found is that if they don't stock your particular filter (and they might not stock the venturi version of the filter) they may require you to purchase a case of 12. In your case I bet it won't be a problem since there will be T444E motors all over -- they probably won't mind stocking this filter.

I have purchased Fleetguards for my pickup at John Deere dealers. Also Case dealers should carry. Either should be able to order for you too.
