Hello BITOGers,

for you purists, this is about hot drinks brewed with hot water and other than Tea/Tchai like mint, dried berries, etc etc.

So what have you?

my turn:
(but I have access to eastern european grocery stores so YMMV)
-mint (different aromas then McCormick's very potent ones)
-lemon-ginger
-all kind of berries,cherry etc

my wife kind of weaned me off sugar onto honey or honey+lemon juice or just plain nothing.

I drink a few herbal teas, mostly when I'm sick and it's late enough at night that I don't want the caffeine from real tea. I usually have Chamomile and Chrysanthemum on hand.

Chamomile makes you sleepy. What does Chrysanthemum do for you? Spearmint leaves are good alone or in lemonade, tea, annnd black coffee. Quick and dirty is to nuke a mug of lemonade for 2 mins.

I might sound weird, but real ginger/garlic tea, with some lemon and honey is good and healthy stuff

I have used avocado leaves, suppose to help with diabetes.I never noticed any effects.I make different herbal teas when I am sick, especially when I am having breathing problems. Some of these formulas worked better than prescription drugs.

note:be careful using anything with lobelia. It can cause cardio stress.
