@Rand - any newer updates on the DWS-06+? They are on my shorter list of future replacements as well as the AS3 and couple others.
I try to follow the threads with the Pirelli AS3. I'm currently running the AS2+ on my Accord (215-55-17) but down to 5/32". I bought them for the lack of noise reviews as well as overall dry/wet. I run full winter like many so no concerns for that season. They replaced a set of original GY WeatherReady that were very noisy and I thought harsh but thought maybe it was the Accord since it was new to me. When I put my used 6-7/32" Conti WinterContact Si the reduced noise and improved ride was like

. The AS2+ in spring made that even better.
Watching the TR tests on the AS3 left me a little down on them as compared to the group and looking more at the GY WR2 possibly. Then I watched the UHPAS tests and the DWS-06+ looks good, tThe P-zero AS3 even better but I would need to go 225-50-17 which I'm fine with. Many of my roads are pretty poor so that round over impacts thing is a trait I like a lot.
From my experience over decades I prefer asymmetrical 3 season so I can cross rotate. I always seem to get more "quiet" miles when I can even out that no matter how good my alignment is. That is compared to a couple directional 3 season and all my directional winters.
As much as I want nice handling, I need quiet highway that tracks straight, good in wet. My daily is just over 50 miles round trip, mix 60/40 highway at 65-80mph with traffic and local 40mph. My son is moving 8 hours away in a couple weeks so guaranteed to get a bunch more highway miles from NY to VA.
Sadly as I get older, that quiet controlled highway is definitely higher on the spectrum vs the true sport.
I need a test with the DWS-06+, P Zero AS3, GY WR2, Regular AS3, CC2 but some other asymmetrical versions also. I don't have a DT by me so that 30 day swap out is more difficult. Sam's/BJ's/Costco and local tire store are my real options. TR does have my local tire store listed as a recommended installer.
